When Life Feels Heavy…
God Still Restores.
Hey Confident Soul,
This past month has been heavy.
My heart has wrestled with emotions, from the ache of my son being away from home, to unpaid invoices stacking up (feel like I’m working for free), and stressors that felt completely out of my control. I found myself holding my breath, trying to push through, but silently unraveling inside. I smiled in public, but in private, I was stretched thin.
Maybe you’ve been there too.
Psalm 23:3 became more than a verse—it became my reality.
"He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake."
You see, in the middle of my mess, God met me.
Not in a big church service or a mountaintop moment—He restored me in the small places:
Within my small group, when I dared to be honest.
In the privacy of my home, when I let the tears fall, and turned my face to Him.
And even at the gym, while walking with a girlfriend who reminded me that I wasn’t alone.
Through each of these sacred spaces, He restored me.
He reminded me that even when life feels heavy, He is the lifter of my head. He is still leading me. And He is still restoring me, not because I have it all together, but because His name is on me.
That’s the beauty of our God.
He restores our soul—not just when things are good, but when they’re messy, uncertain, and overwhelming.
And that’s why I’m inviting you to step away from the chaos and join me for our next Mini Soul Care Retreat on Friday, August 9th, from 10 AM–1 PM.
Last time, registration filled up in just 3 days… and due to high demand, we’ve moved to a larger location to welcome more of you! But we’re still keeping it intimate, intentional, and Spirit-led.
Come breathe. Be still. Be poured into.
Your soul deserves restoration, too.
This is your space to breathe. To reset. To remember who you are.
If your soul needs a safe space to rest and be restored, this is it.
Don’t wait. Registration is open now, and it won’t last long.
P.S. Invite a friend who’s been pouring from an empty cup. Come together, and let God restore your soul, just like He’s been restoring mine.
