Just a few months before everything changed, I received an unexpected invitation — one that felt like both an honor and a divine assignment.
YouVersion, the world’s largest Bible App, was nearing one billion installs, and I was chosen as one of their partners to write a 30-Day Devotional Plan for this global milestone.

After prayer, God whispered the topic: “Confident Faith.”

It sounded perfect — until my confidence began to crumble.
I was writing about bold, unwavering trust while secretly wondering if God was still listening.
I was encouraging others to believe through difficulty while privately questioning if I still believed enough for myself.

And then, in that quiet place of doubt and tears, the Lord revealed a truth that changed everything:

“Sometimes, I don’t let you teach a principle until you’ve been tested by it.”

So there I was, the author of Confident Faith, walking through one of the darkest valleys of uncertainty.
It wasn’t a coincidence. It was preparation.
God was teaching me to embody what I had written — to trust Him in the dark, in the silence, and in the not-knowing.

That’s the real heart of Confident Faith.
It’s not about never questioning God — it’s about choosing to believe Him anyway.
It’s about holding onto hope when your plans fall apart, trusting His timing when doors close, and remembering His promises when your prayers seem unanswered.
